About Us
The PhD Day hosted by the EEATS Doctoral School offers a unique opportunity to connect with fellow PhD students in your field, while also enjoying a collaborative and convivial atmosphere. While the majority of the presentations will be conducted in French, you are warmly invited to present your research in English if you prefer. Language should never be a barrier to sharing your work.
The event will be structured as follows:
- Panel Discussions featuring former PhD students, who will share their diverse experiences and insights on the range of opportunities available after completing a PhD.
- Poster Sessions where you will have the chance to present your research to your peers, as well as explore the work of others. This is a great opportunity to engage with fellow researchers and exchange ideas. A special award will be given at the end of the day for the best poster presentation.
- Guest Talks by distinguished speakers on selected topics, offering valuable insights into various aspects of research and academia. (Presentations will be in French, and questions can be asked in English.)
Throughout the day, coffee breaks and lunch will be provided by the Doctoral School, fostering networking and informal discussions among participants.
Attendance at the PhD Day counts as 8 hours of training, and if you present your work, you will earn an additional 4 hours of training credit.
To participate, please enroll via the link on the website by the 27th of April.
